We have delivered a number of successful projects working in both roles.
In our initial consult, we spend as much time as necessary discussing your vision,, taking measurements and helping you to frame the size, cost and complexity of your project. From that point, we commit to providing you high level estimate (plus/minus 25%, within five business days of our visit.
If you are ready to move to the next step, we will begin detailed design activities which can include a number of steps depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We will provide an exact cost for the design work and ask you to commit to covering that cost. Once the design and plan development work is complete, we are able to deliver an exact project budget and timeline, and write contracts for the full project work.
This is where we get our hands dirty and you start wondering if it was a good idea to rip your house apart. But alas, there is nothing to fear. We do things a little differently at Lagniappe. First, we don’t take on more work than we can deliver. That means, there are never big chunks of time that go by with nothing happening on your project. Second, we understand that we are guests in your home, and will manage the job site accordingly. Finally, some things are going to change and there will be a few discoveries during the project. We will communicate clearly and immediately in these instances and provide options for resolution. So there will never be any surprise invoices at the end of the project. We are certain that you will be pleasantly surprised at the efficiency, quality and consistency in which we work.

We take an all-hands-on-deck’ approach at the end of a project ensure our customers are thrilled with their project and that we wrap up any punch list items in a timely manner.
